Postpartum Support Group

My name is Carrie Schear. I am an LCSW and I specialize in working with women and mothers. In my own postpartum journey I lived in a rural area and experienced a great deal of isolation and feeling alone during this huge transition in life. Looking back at this time of life, I realize, " It doesn't only take a village to raise a child, it also takes one to raise a mother." As new mothers in a modern world, we often find ourselves without a village. This support group is an invitation to begin to create your own village. This is a postpartum support group for ALL mothers in the first year of the mothering experience. This is a support group that promotes connection, support, psycho-education, and resources for any mother in their postpartum journey.
