Welcome!

Being a WOMAN is hard. Being a MOTHER is hard. Hell, just being alive is hard sometimes!

As women, we often put the needs of others before our own and we can lose ourselves in the process. We can experience shame for not measuring up when we compare ourselves to others. We may judge ourselves harshly. We may feel alone in our struggle and may be afraid to reach out for help, afraid that others may judge us too. We may begin to feel hopeless.

Reaching out for help can be the hardest, bravest, and most important thing you do for yourself and for those you love.

Treatment Philosophy

When working together, I will utilize a holistic perspective, paying close attention to your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. I work from a psycho-dynamic, attachment- based perspective, gaining awareness of your earliest relationships and experiences and how that has shaped your nervous system and your patterns in adult relationships as well as how it can impact parenting your own children (if applicable).  I also employ a strengths -based perspective, recognizing that you have the wisdom and capacity to heal and be your best self. Combining my love of nature and experience as a wilderness therapist, I also utilize an eco-therapeutic perspective, recognizing the value of nature in the healing process.
